Tenvoorde Ford is a Proud Sponsor of the Holly Ball
Holly Ball is a gala event that has raised more than $6 million for St. Cloud Hospital Hospice in the past 41 years.
Proceeds from Holly Ball benefit the St. Cloud Hospital Hospice and Coborn Cancer Center Greatest Needs Funds. These funds provide “extras” that are not covered by insurance but make life better for our patients and their families.
The Hospice Fund includes:
- Massage therapy
- Music therapy
- Educational resources on death and dying and grief and bereavement
- No One Dies Alone volunteers
- We Honor Veterans to improve the care provided to veterans
Coborn Cancer Center Fund includes:
- “Caring Conversations” events for couples and families with young children
- Survivorship programs such as art therapy and support groups
- Enhancement program which provides women with wigs, head covers and bra prosthesis
- Participating in research trials to make the fight against cancer stronger
- Registered nurses who help coordinate the cancer experience including mind, body and spirit
Tenvoorde & Toys for Tots
The Holiday Season is now upon us. It’s a time for hot chocolate, warm fires, spending time with loved ones and is a season for giving. By giving a toy to those who are less fortunate you are helping bring joy and excitement to a child on Christmas morning. In the spirit of giving Tenvoorde Ford and Quick Lane Tire and Auto Center have teamed up with Toys for Tots and Catholic Charities to organize a Toys for Tots campaign.
We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys from our co-workers and from our community. Each year there is an increasing number of children in need which makes it even more important to donate to Toys for Tots. This is why we are reaching out to all our co-workers and to the community to donate toys. If you do not have time to shop for a toy a cash donation will also be accepted to purchase toys, even if its $5 it would be appreciated.
We will be using our Model T as a collection point. Stop by the car once in a while and check out our progress. Please encourage your co-workers, customers, church groups, family and friends to donate. We will accept all the donations we can get. Let’s see how special we can make this Holiday Season for someone less fortunate than ourselves.

We have recognized from the beginning of our journey in 1903 that the community is our priority. What they give us in business and loyalty we want to reciprocate. This not only includes the numerous foundations, charities, schools, organizations and Families we help, but also includes employees and their family members. From cookies to our many family member scouts, to car give away sponsorships for local family fundraisers. Doing good feels good so we encourage and support our employees to give back and support our community.
